Hello! My name is Joshua Callandret, and I am a writer, technical jack-of-all-trades, and professional cat herder.

I am currently a Marketing Project Manager at Midwest Roofing, which provides top-tier residential and commercial roofing services across Missouri. We are a small but mighty team, so my role encompasses everything from web dev, to SEO, to social media management, to content creation, to analytics and reporting—plus PM'ing our various initiatives.

I am a voracious learner with a high tolerance for new information and ambiguity. My blog is where I share what I'm learning, as I'm learning it. I believe it's good to learn in public.

My interests are wide and varied. I enjoy working with my hands, fixing things around the house, art criticism, media theory, theological discussion, great writing, and nerding out about the World Wide Web. I think a lot about aesthetics, ethics, systems, and the relationship between people and technology. I want to design a future that looks better than today.

I am happily married and have three kids. I love my family and Jesus. They are my motivation to do what I do.
